What we do

One alliance. Three kinds of programme.

For each programme, we bring together a dedicated team of specialists with the experience and expertise the project requires.

The Alliance

Every discipline, around one vehicle.

Rotate the car. Each station is a specialism the Alliance brings in when a programme needs it, and not before.

CAD Design & FEA

Mechanical design and structural optimisation

From chassis, suspension and mechanical assemblies to composite structures, CAD design and FEA work together to optimise strength, stiffness, fatigue life and weight before parts are built.

  • CAD Design
  • FEA
  • Structural optimisation

Vehicle Dynamics

Control, traction and performance

A large part of a racing car’s performance comes from getting the vehicle dynamics right. Suspension kinematics, tyre behaviour, weight transfer and setup are developed together to maximise traction, stability and driver control across the full operating range.

  • Suspension kinematics
  • Traction
  • Vehicle balance

Aerodynamics & Cooling

Airflow, downforce and thermal management

CFD and aerodynamic development are used to balance downforce, drag and cooling. Ducts, radiators and bodywork are optimised together, then validated through testing.

  • CFD
  • Aerodynamic development
  • Cooling optimisation

Brake System

Complete braking system development

Brake system layout, sizing and integration are developed around the vehicle and its duty cycle. Support can extend from bespoke hardware to dyno development, benchmarking and track correlation.

  • Brake system design
  • Dyno development
  • Track support

Electronics & Data

Electronics, wiring and data integration

From custom wiring harnesses and ECU integration to sensors and data acquisition, electronic systems are developed from concept through prototyping, validation and production.

  • Wiring harnesses
  • ECU integration
  • Data acquisition

Engine & Powertrain

Performance, calibration and drivability

Engine and powertrain development is focused on extracting performance while maintaining efficiency, drivability and reliability. RacingSyn supports calibration and optimisation from the test bench to the track, combining data, driver feedback, engine health monitoring and fine-tuning for changing operating conditions.

  • Engine calibration
  • Powertrain optimisation
  • Trackside development

Composite Structures

High-performance composite engineering

RacingSyn brings extensive composite-design experience from Formula 1, endurance racing, GT and high-performance road-car programmes. From carbon monocoques and structural components to lightweight bodywork, the focus is always the same: minimum mass, the required stiffness and strength, and a design that can be manufactured reliably.

  • Composite design
  • Carbon structures
  • Lightweight engineering

The Engineering Alliance

RacingSyn is expert in complete vehicle development, integration and programme leadership. Around that core, each project gets the specialists it actually needs, for as long as it needs them.

How the Alliance comes together

  1. Understand the challenge: the vehicle, the objective, the regulations and the timing.
  2. RacingSyn defines the vehicle architecture and coordinates the interfaces from the first day.
  3. Alliance specialists join for the disciplines the programme needs, in the phase where their expertise adds value.
  4. One defined point of technical coordination, one plan, one vehicle that converges.

Rally Raid

Where performance alone is not enough.

Dakar-type events break vehicles that were only fast. Suspension loads, durability, cooling and reliability have to be engineered as one package.
