01
Understand the challenge
The vehicle, the objective, the technical problem, the regulations, the timing and the customer’s existing organisation. We first understand what success needs to look like.
How we work
Motorsport, OEM development and bespoke vehicles each demand different experience and specialist expertise. RacingSyn starts by understanding the challenge, then brings together the experienced specialists the programme actually needs.
The Alliance is assembled around the programme, not the programme around a fixed organisation.
The success of any engineering programme is largely determined by the experience and judgement of the people involved.
That principle is why RacingSyn was created as an Engineering Alliance.
Trusted working relationships
RacingSyn’s Engineering Alliance was not created by searching the market for people when a project arrived. Over more than 25 years in top-level motorsport and vehicle development, founder Emanuele Battisti has built a trusted network of highly experienced engineers and specialists across the major disciplines of complete vehicle development.
Many are former colleagues who have already worked together on demanding programmes and understand the standards, pace and technical judgement required. RacingSyn can therefore assemble proven expertise around a new programme quickly, with people whose capabilities are already known.
The Alliance is based on proven working relationships, not a database of CVs.
Four stages
01
The vehicle, the objective, the technical problem, the regulations, the timing and the customer’s existing organisation. We first understand what success needs to look like.
02
Establish what RacingSyn needs to deliver, where responsibility sits, which disciplines are required and how the programme should be organised.
03
RacingSyn selects experienced specialists from the Engineering Alliance around the actual needs of the programme, from one specialist to a multidisciplinary engineering group.
04
Clear technical responsibility, defined milestones and continuous coordination so every specialist contribution converges into the programme objective.
Engagement models
01
For broader vehicle-development programmes.
RacingSyn takes technical responsibility for the agreed programme scope and assembles the required specialists around it.
Examplescompetition vehicle · European vehicle-development programme · bespoke road car
02
For one clearly defined technical challenge.
A defined system, discipline or deliverable with clear responsibilities, timing and output.
Examplessuspension · vehicle dynamics · CPP evaluation · composites · aerodynamics · homologation
03
For customers with an existing technical organisation.
Selected RacingSyn specialists work directly alongside the customer’s organisation for the phase in which their expertise is required.
Examplesdevelopment engineer · test engineer · subjective driver · race engineer · specialist mechanic
Questions
RacingSyn is based in Italy and works across Europe, at customer sites, test facilities and events as required. International collaboration with customer engineering organisations is part of normal programme work.
Confidentiality and discretion are fundamental to the way RacingSyn works. We are used to supporting sensitive programmes involving private clients, manufacturers and development vehicles before public launch.
Intellectual property, project deliverables and pre-existing know-how are defined clearly in the agreement before work begins.
