High-Performance & Bespoke Vehicles

Unique vehicles. Engineered with Italian expertise. Crafted with Italian passion.

From bespoke carbon bodywork to a clean-sheet road-going hypercar, RacingSyn brings together Italian styling, complete-vehicle engineering, specialist craftsmanship and homologation expertise around one programme.

The programme spectrum

From a new carbon body to a completely new vehicle.

Not every bespoke programme starts from a clean sheet. Some clients want to transform an existing luxury or performance car with new bodywork, interiors or aerodynamics. Others want to create a platform-based bespoke vehicle, a one-off, a limited series or an entirely new sports car.

Italian Design, Engineering & Craftsmanship

From the first sketch to the finished vehicle.

RacingSyn combines complete-vehicle engineering with access to a renowned Italian automotive styling studio and a trusted network of specialist Italian suppliers.

Depending on the programme, the collaboration can include exterior and interior styling, surface development, colour and trim, brand identity and vehicle engineering, all coordinated around one technical architecture.

The journey

From an idea to a vehicle that is genuinely yours.

  1. 01

    Vision & Feasibility

Define what the client wants to create and establish the right technical foundation: donor platform or clean sheet, production volume, target markets, budget and homologation strategy.

  2. 02

    Styling & Product Definition

Exterior and interior concept, vehicle identity, proportions, package and, where required, brand direction.

  3. 03

    Vehicle Architecture

Package, structure, suspension, powertrain, aerodynamics, systems and regulatory strategy developed together as one vehicle.

  4. 04

    Engineering & Surface Development

Translate styling intent into manufacturable surfaces, structures, systems and engineering solutions.

  5. 05

    Prototype

Build, assemble and integrate the first complete vehicle with specialist suppliers under one technical programme.

  6. 06

    Testing & Development

Road, track and rig development; vehicle dynamics, durability, systems validation and refinement.

  7. 07

    Homologation & Approval

Regulatory testing, compliance evidence, technical documentation and support through the appropriate approval route.

  8. 08

    Industrialisation & Production

For limited series: tooling, supplier chain, repeatable processes and production documentation. For a one-off: a maintainable, supportable vehicle.

Homologation & Regulatory Strategy

Road legality has to be engineered from the beginning.

One-off and limited-series road vehicles have to satisfy complex regulatory requirements before they can legally reach the road. The appropriate homologation route depends on the target market, production volume, donor platform, extent of the modifications, powertrain, safety systems and vehicle category.

RacingSyn supports the technical and programme strategy so those requirements are considered from the beginning, not added after the prototype is complete.

01

Homologation strategy

Identify the appropriate approval route for the intended vehicle, production volume and target markets.

02

Requirements definition

Translate applicable regulations into engineering requirements for the vehicle architecture, systems and documentation.

03

Design integration

Consider regulatory requirements during packaging, component selection and system design before they become redesigns.

04

Testing & evidence

Coordinate engineering tests, technical documentation and supporting evidence required for approval.

05

Authorities & specialist partners

Work with homologation engineers, technical services, laboratories and local specialists where required.

06

Europe & selected international markets

Support European approval planning and, where required, adaptation for other target markets through appropriate local routes and partners.

Programme types

Six kinds of bespoke programme.

01

Bespoke Body & Aero

A new carbon-composite body, aerodynamic package or exterior transformation for an existing luxury or performance vehicle.

02

Platform-Based Bespoke Vehicle

A substantially redesigned vehicle using an existing platform, rolling chassis or powertrain as the technical foundation, with new styling, bodywork, interior and engineering developed around the client's vision.

03

One-Off Vehicle

A unique road or track vehicle developed for one client, with the engineering and regulatory scope defined around its intended use.

04

Limited Series

A low-volume production run of the same vehicle, with industrialisation, a repeatable supplier chain and the documentation a series requires.

05

Clean-Sheet Sports Car / Hypercar

A complete new vehicle architecture developed from concept through styling, engineering, prototype, validation and homologation.

06

Concept & Technology Demonstrator

A vehicle built to present a design or to prove a powertrain, a material or an architecture, with structure and systems that work.

A car being built in a specialist workshop

One technical integrator

One technical programme across design, engineering and build.

A bespoke vehicle can involve a styling studio, engineering specialists, prototype manufacturers, composite suppliers, trim specialists, electronics suppliers and homologation partners.

RacingSyn coordinates those activities around one vehicle architecture, one development plan and one set of technical targets.

Questions

What clients ask before they call.

Can our idea really be engineered?

The first step is feasibility. We assess the technical concept, donor platform or clean-sheet architecture, target performance, regulatory route, production volume, timing and budget before detailed engineering starts.

Can you support only styling / bodywork, without developing a complete new vehicle?

Yes. RacingSyn can support a focused bespoke bodywork or aero programme, a platform-based vehicle, or a complete clean-sheet car. The engineering scope is matched to the ambition of the project.

Can you also support styling and brand creation?

Yes. RacingSyn works with a renowned Italian automotive styling studio and specialist partners who can support exterior and interior design, surface development, colour and trim, product identity and, where required, new-brand creation.

Can a one-off vehicle really be made road legal?

In many cases, yes, but the homologation route must be understood before the vehicle architecture is frozen. Production volume, target markets, donor components and vehicle specification all influence the regulatory path. RacingSyn integrates those requirements into the programme from the beginning.

Can the same vehicle be approved for different countries?

Potentially, but requirements differ by market. The target countries should be defined early so the engineering, testing and documentation strategy can be adapted accordingly, working with specialist local homologation partners where required.

How long does a bespoke vehicle programme take?

Timing depends on the technical ambition and complexity, prototype strategy, homologation route and production volume. RacingSyn defines a realistic programme plan only after feasibility and scope are understood.

Will the programme remain confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality and discretion are fundamental to the way RacingSyn works. We are used to supporting sensitive programmes involving private clients, manufacturers and development vehicles before public launch.
